Fuel Pump Drive Rod, Long, 107mm/4.3″

The fuel pump drive rod carries the force from the distributor drive pinion to actuate the fuel pump on the Type 1 engine. At approximately 110mm (4.3″) long, this rod is known as the “long” style fuel pump rod and is only used with the generator style fuel pump (#113127025D).

The generator style pump was standard on 1955 to 1973 Standard Beetle, 1971 to 1973 Super Beetle, 1956 to 1973 Karmann Ghia, 1955 to 1971 Type 2 Bus, 1962 to 1968 Type 3 (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback), and 1973 to 1974 Thing models.
