1. Begin by disconnecting the negative battery cable from the ATV.
2. Remove the necessary body parts to gain access to the starter motor. This may include plastic covers and/or the seat.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the starter motor.
4. Unbolt the starter motor from the engine block.
5. Install the new starter motor in the same location and bolt it in place.
6. Connect the wiring harness to the starter motor.
7. Reinstall the plastic covers and/or seat.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
9. Start the ATV and test the starter motor.
