1. Remove the Old Handlebars
– Remove the grips from the old handlebars with a heat gun or sharp knife.
– Unscrew the clamps that secure the handlebars to the triple tree.
– Disconnect the wiring harness from the handlebars, if applicable.
– Pull the old handlebars out of the clamps.
2. Install the New Handlebars
– Place the new handlebars into the clamps.
– Reconnect the wiring harness to the new handlebars, if applicable.
– Secure the handlebars to the triple tree with the clamps.
– Make sure the handlebars are locked into place and that they are level.
3. Install the Grips
– Slide the new grips over the handlebars.
– Secure the grips in place with a heat gun or sharp knife.
– Make sure the grips are tight and secure.
4. Test Ride
– Take your bike for a test ride to make sure the new handlebars are functioning properly.
– Make any adjustments that may be necessary.
