1. Start by removing the wheels from your ATV. Use a socket wrench to loosen the lug nuts, then remove the wheels.
2. Loosen the axle nut, which is located on the axle shaft. Use a socket wrench to loosen the nut.
3. Place a jack underneath the ATV frame, near the axle. This will help support the ATV while you work on the axle.
4. Remove the axle nut and the axle shaft from the ATV. Pull the axle shaft out slowly and carefully.
5. Clean the axle shaft and the ATV frame with a wire brush.
6. Insert the new axle shaft into the ATV frame. Make sure the axle is aligned properly and not bent or twisted.
7. Secure the axle with the axle nut. Tighten the nut with a socket wrench.
8. Reattach the wheels to the ATV. Make sure you tighten the lug nuts securely.
9. Lower the jack and you are done.
